Carlin began studying ballet at the age of three as a student of both the ISTD and RAD programs.  During her 15 years of training, she completed exams with the ISTD, studying to the Grade 6 level, then trained with the RAD up to the vocational level of Elementary (now Intermediate).  In addition to ballet, Carlin studied for several years in lyrical and tap.

She began teaching 10 years ago, specializing in Pre-school to Grade One RAD ballet syllabus.

Carlin has been a youth mentor with Abbotsford Community Services and

has devoted many volunteer hours working with youth in our community.

In addition, she has completed a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and is now working towards becoming a high school teacher.

Her dedication and ingenuity with preschool children and dance creates fun programs that engage children in productive learning that both teaches and entertains.
