Terry McGowan has had a love of dance since she was a toddler in Scotland. Having this passion has led her through a lifetime of dance from being a dancer herself to her ultimate love of teaching and choreography. Terry has been blessed to have taught and choreographed for over 40 years at some of Canada's most acclaimed dance schools.

Terry is proud to have had the privilege of having taught such amazing dancers including Stacey Tookey of Celine Dion's Las Vegas show "A New Day" and of “So You Think You Can Dance” fame, Sandi Croft also of Celine Dion's "A New Day", Vanessa Lawson, the Royal Winnipeg's principal soloist, Brock Jellison of Rukus Productions and choreographer of the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Tylor Haydon of “Tap Dogs”, Dancer and choreographer Kevin Tookey, who has danced his way around the world with companies including the Carolina Ballet, Ontario Ballet Theatre, MOVE: the company and countless others, Elizabeth Tookey of “Hellcats” and who portrayed "Baby" in the Toronto cast of "Dirty Dancing" and many more wonderfully talented artists along the years.

Terry is so grateful to have had such a fruitful career in dance and with such beautiful inspiration from all of her students throughout the years and into the present.
