The Fraser Valley Academy of Dance is located in Mission, British Columbia, in the heart of a thriving, picturesque community only 70 km from Vancouver. 

At the eastern stop of Vancouver’s commuter train route and only 15 minutes drive north of the US border, Mission is surrounded by incredible mountainous vistas and natural forest settings, overlooking the lush Fraser River Valley and the Fraser River.  With warm, tropical summers and mild, wet winters, tropical plants thrive naturally here and flowers bloom through most of the year.  Mission enjoys an immense variation of hillsides and gullies providing spectacular views and a sense of timelessness and security.

Bordered by the Rockies to the East and the Pacific Ocean to the West, British Columbia is considered by many to be ‘The Best Place on Earth’.  In Canada’s westernmost province, the trees grow big, the salmon grow bigger and the wildlife is all around us.  In 2008, BC celebrated 150 years of cultural diversity, community strength and widespread achievement since its founding in 1858.  In 2010, Vancouver hosted the 2010  Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
