School Programs


Pre-Professional Program for the most serious ballet students.  Exceptional training in ballet, boys’ ballet & virtuosity, pointe, variations, modern, tap and contemporary, as well as classes in health&nutrition, dance history, music appreciation and pilates.  Students train from 1pm for 20+ hours each week, plus weekend rehearsals.  Performance opportunities throughout the year.  Downlaod your Pre-Professional Application.


Graduate Program for serious post-secondary ballet students.  Approved post-secondary students attend a combination of Pre-Professional and Evening Intensive classes as part of their ongoing training.  Performance opportunities throughout the year.  Downlaod your Graduate Application.


Evening Intensive Program for dedicated students needing after-school training.  Students join the after-school hours portion of the Pre-Professional Program.  Select students are entered into ISTD and RAD Graded and Vocational examinations.  Registration for September opens May 1st for existing students and May 15th for new students.


Recreational Dance Classes are offered for students looking for dance classes for fun and fitness.  Registration for September opens May 1st   for existing students and May 15th for new students.


Teacher Training Foundation Course for the post-secondary student with at least an Intermediate Ballet level seeking a career as a dance teacher.  The one and two-year programs prepare students for a career in teaching ballet by combining in-class training, mentoring,  and practical teaching experience with study sessions in class management, lesson planning, musicality, child-care, first-aid, anatomy, dance history, and RAD syllabus.


*NOTE: The Teacher Training Course is currently on hold while FVAD completes registration with PCTIA as a Career Training institute.
